Reading the site freely

Cedarlynxplay is a free reading site about browser role-playing games. You can read every review, guide and comparison without making an account, signing up or paying anything. Nothing is sold here, and there is no member area to log into. By reading and using the pages you accept the plain terms set out below.

You are welcome to quote short passages with a link back to the page they came from. Please do not copy whole reviews, guides or our illustrations onto another site.

Opinions earned at the keyboard

Every score, ranking and verdict on Cedarlynxplay is our editorial opinion, formed after playing the game on a live server. Browser RPGs are updated often, so a class, a timer or an event we describe may have changed since we last checked.

When you spot something out of date or wrong, write to [email protected]. We look into every correction, fix the page if you are right, and note the date of the change.

Leaving for the game itself

The play buttons on our pages open each game’s official website in a new browser tab. From that moment you are on the publisher’s own site, and its terms of service and privacy policy govern your account, your purchases and your play there.

Some of those buttons may be partner links. The order of the six and every score on the site come from our play notes alone.

Whose names and whose words

Game titles, logos, class names and screenshots belong to their publishers and owners, and we use them only to identify and discuss their games. The writing on Cedarlynxplay, our illustrations including Tamarack the tortoise, and the design of the site are our own work and remain ours.

Keeping the trail tidy

We work to keep every page accurate and reachable, and we fix broken links and dead buttons as soon as we hear about them. Pages may move, change or be retired as the games themselves change.

We may revise these terms when the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and the newest version is the one that applies.

Which laws apply

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the site belongs before the courts of Ontario, though we would much rather sort it out by email first.
